Yay for Dads!

Before we get to the many wonderful merits of dads...
Check out my herbs!

Oh hello Parsley

Dill you are looking quite nice today.

Oh Tarragon! Nice to see you too!

We had the family over for a little memorial day
grill-out on Sunday.

And then we put the Dads to work. First - Del fixed
our screen door - it had come off its hinges this winter.
See previous post on why Del is so good at this task.
Second they transported and maneuvered a giant TV
to our basement. There were no walls scratched in
the making of our home theater experience.

And then Arlin tore apart my door to get at my blown
out speaker. And no..I don't listen to my music too
loud. My little PT is getting old.

And then the Dads went to work wiring some speakers for
the nice TV that is now in my basement.

Dads are great. And so handy! Thanks Dads!! :)

What you are about to see is the "Rock Band Face."
In my experience, it is not possible to play
rock band without this expression.
Or should I say lack of expression...

Check out these fancy clean cars! Seth and I spent hours
washing, waxing, vacuuming, and windexing. But they
look awesome :)

Tulip Festival Weekend

The following are pictures from this Tulip Festival Weekend,
and I must confess - most of these excellent pictures were
taken by Jenna Aker - aka - Jaker. She got a new camera and
I'm going to steal it. Shhhh. Don't tell her.

mmmm...rhubarb cake. My favey.

Dad is getting really good at fixing the screen door! He
had to fix it after mom walked through it and then he
had to fix it after he walked through it himself :)
Beware the screen door.

Oh yeah...Jenna's artwork is out there folks. Watch out.

I go for the weekend!

I made a chocolate covered strawberry cake. Yum. There were
strawberries baked into the cake.

My herbs! I think this is mint...but not totally sure
cuz I wrote the name with permanent marker and
then the first time I watered them the name washed  away...

Tarragon...I think.

This is my buddy Pongo. I love him.

This is my buddy Myles. I love him.

This is my cookie monster Seth. He is a nut.
