This one worked

So I made a turkey and it turned out beautifully. And now I have to figure out what to do with my tupperware full of leftovers.

Braised Leeks with Warm Pancetta Dressing

I tried to make a great "Cooking Light" meal tonight for Seth and I. I read the directions carefully and worked on this thing for a good hour and a half. Lets just say it ended in smoke (ALOT of smoke) - and we ate something different.

Yucks. I couldn't even try it - I knew I would feel sick. Seth tried it - he's a good sport, but definitely spit it out. Seth's words: "If you would have asked me if we should try this recipe I would have said no."

We got haircuts

Family Time

The last few weekends we have had some great family fun - most of the family came home for Micah's Sioux Center basketball tournament and Ty's Rock Valley b-ball tourney, and then last weekend Lianne and Mike got to come home for a few days and Jenna, Andrew, and Jaron all came home again - so we had the whole gang together! (including adopted children Miles and Derrick) :)
We had some big news on Saturday - we sold our house!!! This news resulted in a few tears (Lianne realized that this would be the last time she would get to come home to this house) but mostly joy - Binkie has some amazing plans for the new house :) We have to be out in 60 days...that only instills a little bit of panic in everyone. Oh and I have to post this - right after we heard the house was sold, Lianne and Ty started crying a little, and Micah got very angry. His exact words "Well where are we going to live??? I'm not living in no hotel." HAHA. We all paused for a second and then burst out laughing... oh Micah - I will need to post all of his sayings..the kid is funny.

I've been trying to post some footage of the scrimmages - but its not working!!! Blogger!!! I'll keep trying!

Jace William

Stacey and Adam are the proud parents of little Jace William Bradshaw. Born Feb 28 at 5:37pm, he was just a little guy - 6 lbs 2oz and 21 inches long - so a long skinny little thing! But he's very cute and I'm excited to watch him get big! Stacey was in labor for about 20 hours and was pretty pooped by the time he came! Here are some pictures - enjoy!

The Working World...

Seth and I have jobs...and work all day. We must have known that graduating from college meant time to get a real job...but somehow it doesn't hit you until you actually start the job. But really we like our jobs and are pretty blessed to have the jobs we do. Here is a picture of me ready to head to work - I'm off to tell the world about their medications.

Here is Seth ready for a grueling day of processing people's tax returns.

Here's Seth when he gets home :)
