Now with your latest installment of the family
fun show. Micah had a great game last Friday - 35 to 6!
And what's family fun without boisterous cousins?
Brad would continually shout "That's my cousin!!"
whenever Micah had a good play.
During the game Brad and I discussed Christmas plans
and our desire to get the whole family together for a
good ol' family bash. (And a baby shower for Lianne :))
Brad was on board and proceeded to tell me what
would be required on this party's menu. Interested?
Okay here ya go:
Pizza Ranch
White angel food cake
Dr. Pepper
Orange slices
Circus peanuts
No bake cookies (must be thin and slightly bent)
Mashed potatoes
Buns
Gravy
Corn
Roast
Skittles
Laffy Taffy
Chocolate Stars
Maple Nut Goodies
Twizzlers
Peanut butter cookies with chocolate kisses
Rice krispie bars
Grandma Lassen's pies
Here are some videos of Micah's touchdown passes
and how Mom acts during every play of Micah's
games. She's a bit of a nervous nelly :)
Cute :) Rhonda and Sherwin were reminiscing
about their first date and watching Saturday
Night Live and how Sherwin and Dad thought
SNL was hilarious and Rhonda thought it was
the dumbest show she's ever seen :)
Ty and his killer drum set
We were all sitting around eating yummy "lunch"
and waiting for Micah to come home. And here he is!
Brad commented that Micah was a "real live ken doll"
While discussing the benefits of fresh fruits and
vegetables, Brad commented "the only fruit I know
of are certs and starbursts."
Micah was not super excited for his first highschool
dance so Brad tried to pump him up and teach him
how to properly dance with his lady friend.
I took this shot as we left Sergeant Bluff VERY early
Saturday morning for Iowa City. Pretty cool huh?
